New Prada(II) phone arrives from LG

The Prada (II) from LG looks very good as you’d expect with a label like that. It comes with a 7.2Mbit HSDPA connection, a 5 mega pixel camera sporting a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens and WiFi, the phone fits nicely in the hand, and build quality is good – all definite improvements since the first model.

Not so good is the fact that the Prada (II) doesn’t have GPS, it has the same 3 inch 240 x 400 pixel touch-screen as the original, it’s fatter & heavier and has a huge qwerty keyboard stuck to the back of it.

The phone has a meagre 60Mb of onboard memory and has a micro SD card slot which won’t take anything larger than an 8Gb card, and it doesn’t come with extra memory in the box either. Perhaps the worst of it is that of the designer label price tag – around about a whopping £450.
